The Blog that was unwritten

As bands such as Tool, Johnny Cash, smashing pumpkins, and korn, as well as many more are staring to take the step of using music as a tool to inform the youth of their views from "doomsdays" to government involvement of the public and the future that waits them.
Korns "Evolution", breaks down to a simple meaning, De-evolution. In the
music video( http://youtube.com/watch?v=VntFEWF8I8A), video shows how money and sex can convince a human race, like a monkey would be driven to a banana. The difference here is that a banana is a source to survival, while money (not sex) is not what i would call a must have if i was stranded on a desert.
The talk of the End of the world has been tossed around for so many years, but whats steering the talk even more is that maynes calender which comes to an end on December 21, 2012. In my View, we shouldn't fear something we are unsure off. What comes after death is not important; we should make every minute in this life the best we can.

Hi David--

Interesting, but don't quite see how this relates to "Story of an Hour"--make a clear connection...

right, "Story of an Hour" is a clear view towards what a person when imprisoned, agrees on a point in their lives where they can no longer dream and fantasying of a better tomorrow.
Loved the description of how she view life outside her window. How life was still going on despite how a death didn't stop time. She got grip with her senses and saw that this is her time to live, as well all know, during the early 1800s, women were not giving much choices as citizens. So, this death was her chance to live and explore the world outside those walls.
My interception of this story could be wrong, but i did get the feeling she wasn't happy and her husbands death was the only escape.
